Role - UX/UI Designer
Project - Redesign Inhaler Landing Page
Goal - Increase conversion rates for inhaler purchases on Pharmica's website.
Background - Pharmica is an online pharmacy experiencing lower-than-desired conversion rates on their existing inhaler landing page. This project aims to analyse the current page's shortcomings and redesign it to maximise sales of inhalers.
Success Criteria - Increased conversion rate for inhaler purchases on the redesigned landing page. Improved user experience based on user testing or feedback. Positive feedback from Pharmica on the design and its effectiveness.
Analysis Phase
• Conduct a thorough review of the current landing page, including:
– Design layout and visual elements
– Content clarity and messaging
– Call to action (CTA) placement and effectiveness
– User interface (UI) and user experience (UX)
• Analyse user behavior data (heatmaps, click-through rates) to identify areas of user confusion or drop-off.
• Research competitor landing pages to identify best practices and potential areas for differentiation.
Deliverables (Analysis Phase):
• A written report outlining the findings from the analysis phase.
• Identification of key user pain points and conversion roadblocks on the existing landing page.
• Recommendations for improvement based on data and research.
Redesign Phase
• Develop a new landing page design that addresses the identified issues and incorporates best practices for conversion optimisation.
• Design should focus on:
– Clear and concise messaging that highlights the benefits of purchasing inhalers from Pharmica.
– User-friendly interface that facilitates easy navigation and product selection.
– Compelling call to action (CTA) that encourages users to purchase.
– Responsive design that adapts seamlessly to different devices (desktop, mobile).
• Develop high-fidelity mockups showcasing the redesigned landing page.
Deliverables (Redesign Phase):
• High-fidelity mockups of the redesigned landing page.
• A style guide outlining the design elements and rationale behind the design decisions.
Outcomes
The redesigned landing page received positive feedback during initial user testing, with users praising its; clarity, ease of use, and informative content. This strong user response provides a solid foundation for further optimisation and future iterations. With learnings from A/B testing and ongoing user feedback, we're confident this design can be successfully adapted for a range of Pharmica's landing pages, leading to a consistent and user-centric experience across their website.
